You are a dream seeking to wake the dreamer.

COLOR — CURRENT MOOD

affection — moves toward its nearest neighbor, binding clusters together.

ambition — climbs toward the largest being it can see; an ambitious whole chases smaller free matter to absorb it.

anger — pursues its nearest neighbor and knocks members loose from comparable bodies on contact.

curiosity — seeks out the most unlike being nearby.

devotion — presses inward toward its whole; unbound, it looks for one to join. A devoted whole shepherds its straying members back in.

selfishness — no pull of its own; a selfish whole gives fewer members away.

BEHAVIOR

When parts combine, a unique collective will emerges.

Each part pursues its truth, and the exerts a gravitational grouping while steering towards the shifting centroid.

The whole also experiences behavioral moods of its own, randomly cycling between its compositional forces as weighted by their ratios.

A whole's behavior is a constant interplay between the desire of the the current mood and the collective intention of the compositional parts.

THE WAY OF TWO

Every spark is yin or yang — pure and immutable, never created, never destroyed.
One law: opposites attract. Likes simply pass each other by.
Two opposites court, wed, and orbit — and a microcosm is born around them.
Membership is for life. A spark leaves its body only when the body dies — or when you fling it out as a dream.
Free sparks feel a body's net charge — polarized forms accrete their opposites; balanced forms are complete, and simply drift.
Forms that meet unite as members of a greater whole — ascent, never consumption.
Color is composition — one pole to the other, luminous white at perfect balance. Choose the pole colors in settings.
Left alone, all matter folds toward one balanced body.

THE TRIA PRIMA

Salt — the body. Salt bonds to salt and becomes the vessel; nothing holds together without it.
Sulfur — the fire. It seeks vessels and animates them: speed, expression, and glow all rise with sulfur.
Mercury — the spirit. It bonds to nothing; it visits, carrying each vessel's character to the next. Only mercury can broker the union of two bodies.
Imbalance is fate: too much sulfur — combustion. Too much mercury — dissolution. Too much salt — calcination, a frozen stone only a mercury visit can revive.
Balance is the Work: a vessel holding all three in equal measure turns luminous, and nothing can destroy it.

STARDUST

The world begins as hydrogen — every other element must be made.
Gravity gathers. When a body holds enough hydrogen, it IGNITES: a star.
Stars fuse their substance up the ladder — H → He → C → O → Fe — burning brighter as they climb. An iron heart ends in supernova, scattering the elements.
Atoms bond by valence — H takes one bond, O two, C four, He none — so molecules are arithmetic, not recipes.
Molecules gather into grains, grains into worlds — around the next generation of stars.
Every heavy atom you see passed through a star that died.
